Social Enterprise

Whether it’s Fresh Honey, a bespoke handmade Chopping Board or even a Wooden Phone Speaker, Open House has something that will appeal to anyone.

All products offered on our Social Enterprise page are made or restored by our participants, volunteers or staff and directly support the life changing work of Open House.

As new items are introduced we will be keeping this page up to date, so check back often to not only view the item, but see the story of how it is made.

To order anything, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and fill out the Enquiry Form.

Handmade Open House Chopping Board

Available Now

Price: $50

These hand made chopping boards have been made by a group of young participants at Open House who are disengaged from school, struggle with a range of mental health issues and are from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. This process of designing and making the boards has taught them new skills and built their confidence in the workshop. Money raised through the sale of these boards will be re-invested into the program to ensure more students are able to access the program, in turn, reconnecting students with education and up-skilling in a range of different areas.

Fresh Organic Honey

Will Be Available Once Back Onsite

Price: $10 (per jar)

It’s spring again, which means Open House’s bees will have been busing making fresh organic honey.

As with all of Open House’s Social Enterprise products, funds from each sale will go directly back into Open House’s programs and directly help those in the community.

Honey will be available once our onsite programs resume and our participants are able to harvest it and continue to learn about making honey.
